Meghan is a formally trained botanist, having a master’s degree in plant and fungal taxonomy, diversity, and conservation, and a not so formally trained artist.
She enjoys expressing her love of the botanical world through multimedia creations, which are primarily watercolor but combine as well elements of colored pencil, permanent marker, and digital design.
The botanical world of Florida provided the backdrop for the first 22 years of her life, as well as the impetus to go on to study them at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in 2021/2022.
